Mini-Bloggiesta: Goals and Updates

It's the start of Mini-Bloggiesta and I have been waiting for this...I actually have some tasks that need to be tended to so this comes at the perfect time. Why not join in on the fun. Check it out at the Bloggiesta blog.

My goals (in order of priority):

  1. I recently changed my two main blogs to two column (one sidebar) layouts so I need to make sure everything is arranged correctly in the sidebars. That is here on this blog and at my sister blog, Castle Macabre.
  2. Here on The True Book Addict I want to create a page (tab) for my favorite blogs' buttons so as to de-clutter the sidebar even more.
  3. Plan out and execute the details and announcement of the revamp of my Fantasy Reading Challenge.
If I have time, I might...
  • Finish updating my 2012 and 2013 'books read' lists here on the blog
  • Start adding my cataloged fiction books (from my home library...2000+ books) to my library blog, A Library, Collected.
Not sure about mini-challenges, as I'm concentrating on very specific tasks, but I will check them out. I'm also hoping to participate in the Twitter chat.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  1. As always, reading other people's lists is giving me ideas for adding to my own! My blogroll has gotten so long that maybe I should make a separate page for it too. I never thought of that! Last Bloggiesta, I created a Reviews by Author page from my Reviews by Title page, and it was a very satisfying project!

  2. I like the one sidebar format personally, as I feel like it's less cluttered. enjoying the lovely background as well. I like that you have prioritized your task list as well. I also like that are planning to put blogs you enjoy on a separate tab, that's something I've been meaning to do as well because I love to share the buttons that people have created rather than just a list in a blogroll.

  3. A page with buttons is such a good idea! I am always cleaning up my sidebar because I don't know what to do with the stuff in it!

  5. Yes, same here. What to include, what not to include. In trying to keep mine as clutter-free as possible, I sometimes worry that it's too sparse.

  6. I've accomplished the top two items on my priority list and starting to work on number 3 so pretty happy! Hope you're getting your goals accomplished.
